Technology has made it possible for me to work remotely anywhere in Australia, which I love & as a virtual bookkeeper I can do almost everything that an onsite bookkeeper does for you, except I use computer software and electronic communication to do it. I can post transactions, code invoices and purchases, reconcile accounts, process payroll, record Superannuation liabilities, lodge your BAS, and even pay bills or employees if the business requests.

For a small business this can be a creative way to fulfil accounting responsibilities without having an onsite bookkeeper in their home, dealing with a small office space or having to pay insurances & other payroll related costs. A Virtual Bookkeeper can do as little or as much as your business requires so the business owner can be as involved as they feel necessary in the partnership.

My Qualifications & Experience

I’ve been working in the bookkeeping world since 2002 and completed my formal training as a qualified Bookkeeper in 2011 through the Australian Institute of Finance & Accounting. I’m a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board & a member of the “Institute of Certified Bookkeepers”.
